The RVA Lit Walk (originally “Lit Crawl”) is a two-day reading series founded in 2017 by Richmond author Cheryl Pallant, who had a vision of bringing writers and readers together. The first Lit Walk hosted over 70 published writers who read to audiences at cafes, galleries, shops, hotels, and hostels. The Lit Walk has grown each year since then, and we anticipate continued growth as we move forward into the future.

True to Cheryl’s vision, our goal today is to support creative writing and the literary arts by bringing the written word to life. We seek to build connections between established writers, aspiring writers, and the Richmond community. We also endeavor to foster relationships, promote the arts, and inspire people of all ages to read.
