Elizabeth Varel, Director
Elizabeth is the founding editor of Parhelion Literary Magazine, an online publication based in the Richmond area. A graduate of the VCU MFA program, she now serves as the Creative Director for a local marketing company where she focuses on both print and digital marketing. Outside her professional and literary pursuits, Elizabeth is most happy spending time with her family or reading a book on the sofa.
Lindsay Klarc Chudzik, Assistant Director
Linsday is the editor in chief of Feels Blind Literary magazine. She is an Associate Professor of Writing at VCU where she received her MFA. Her short stories have appeared or are forthcoming in The Chiron Review, Clementine Unbound, Defenestration, Dogwood: A Journal of Poetry and Prose, and The Magnolia Review, among others. Her stories have been nominated for Pushcart Prizes, her creative nonfiction has been anthologized, and her plays have been staged. When she has a minute, she enjoys contemplating ways to work Kathleen Hanna and Courtney Love into her stories and syllabi.
